Position available for working students.

I have availability for two working students.  One to start immediately, and one to start by the end of August, 2007.

I run my dressage operation, Elizabeth McConnell Dressage, from Circle P Ranch in Escondido, California.  I love this photo above.  It says a lot about Circle P.  It is a an established dressage facility, with absolutely stunning surroundings.  I feel honoured to work from such a beautiful and serene place. 

My working students will have the opportunity to work in these surroundings, they will work with some really top horses.  Some of the days are long, but most are very satisfying.  Most days we can look back and say the horses are fabulous and they are doing so well.

We will compete.  Some in hand with the youngsters, for experience or for their inspections.  We will show the youngsters in the FEI 4,5, and 6 year old classes.  And we will show in National and International classes

A lot of time is spent preparing for the competitions, whether it be spit and polishing horses and tack, grooming the arenas, or exercising and training the horses.

Please only apply if you love horses, and are not afraid of hard work.  We have a happy environment and wish to keep it this way.  We do not have disobedient horses, but will not put up abuse of any kind.
